About FIFPro
FIFPro is the worldwide representative organization for all professional players; more than 50,000 footballers in total. FIFPro exists since 1965 and currently has 46 members, 9 candidate members and 9 observers. On this page the World Players’ Union portraits itself; its idea, its history and its organisation.
Mission Statement
FIFPro has adopted its mission and its mission statement. To create its vision for the future, FIFPro at first had to define where it stands for, who it is and what it wants to achieve.

Statutes
The inauguration meeting of FIFPro was held on 15 December 1965. Since then the union has grown to be the World Players' Union; the sole representative for all professional footballers in the world. On this page you will find the statutes of FIFPro.

Board
The FIFPro board consists of eleven members, including president Leonardo Grosso. He has been president since the FIFPro congress at Kuala Lumpur in November 2010.

FIFPro Committees
FIFPro has six committees. Almost every committee is appointed by the board of FIFPro. The committees help the World Players' Union with several tasks.

FIFPro House
FIFPro’s head office is located in Hoofddorp, the Netherlands. The office is nearby the biggest Dutch airport, Schiphol. From there its easy to reach by train. Off course, it is also possible to travel to the office by car.
