FIFPro Division Americas consists of nine member associations: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Uruguay and the USA. The division has one candidate member, Costa Rica. Rinaldo Martorelli is president of the board of Division America, the other members of the board are Carlos Soto, Rinaldo Martorelli, Fernando Revilla, Carlos Gonzalez Puche and David Paniagua.

Representatives of 150,000 athletes (including professional footballers) from across the globe voted unanimously to establish a federation of world player associations. 'Global problems need global solutions.'

The Bolivian footballers’ union (Futbolistas Agremiados de Bolivia, Fabol) says it’s urgently necessary for the state to take a stake in football. They hope to get away from the bottom of the table once and for all.

World XI: French league leaders PSG vote
Paris Saint-Germain is the current leader in France’s Ligue 1, with a three-point lead after 13 matches. Recently players of the popular French club voted for the FIFA FIFPro World XI, including Javier Pastore.

Three new members in the FIFPro family
The FIFPro family has three new members. Morocco, Serbia and (under reservation) Costa Rica are official members of FIFPro. Four other unions have been nominated as candidate members.

Chile: union organizes day for disadvantaged kids
Sifup, the professional footballers’ association of Chile, organized its first Sifup Football Day: el Dia del Fútbol. A day especially organized for children from disadvantaged homes.
