FIFPro Division Americas consists of nine member associations: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Uruguay and the USA. The division has one candidate member, Costa Rica. Rinaldo Martorelli is president of the board of Division America, the other members of the board are Carlos Soto, Rinaldo Martorelli, Fernando Revilla, Carlos Gonzalez Puche and David Paniagua.

Tel Aviv hosts FIFPro General Assembly
Next week, FIFPro will be welcoming its members to Tel Aviv, Israel, for the annual general meeting. From Tuesday 1 to Thursday 3 November, representatives of 54 trade unions for professional football players will attend the congress.

Brazilian union demands more safety measures
SAPESP, the Athletes Association of São Paulo, wants an end to the violent behavior of fans towards footballers. The union is very concerned because of the recent incident with Palmeiras midfielder João Vitor.
