FIFPro Division Americas consists of nine member associations: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Uruguay and the USA. The division has one candidate member, Costa Rica. Colombia is angry: clubs play despite nonpayment
The Colombian trade union for footballers is very annoyed about the lack of decisiveness by the football authorities. 9 clubs that are known as nonpayers started the season, and that is in violation of an agreement reached recently.

Union of Ecuador suspended as FIFPro member
FIFPro has suspended AFE, the trade union for professional football players of Ecuador, as member of FIFPro. ‘There is no legitimate reason to consider AFE as the official representative of football players in Ecuador.’

Argentine players receive their diplomas
The Argentine footballers’ association handed out diplomas to players and family members who successfully finished their studies or completed courses and workshops. All students were supported by the FAA.

FIFPro welcomes players' association Guatemala
The new footballers’ association of Guatemala presented itself: la Asociación de Futbolistas Guatemaltecos AFG. Two days after their first press conference the footballers union organized a protest against unpaid salaries.
