FIFPro Division Americas consists of nine member associations: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Uruguay and the USA. The division has one candidate member, Costa Rica. Rinaldo Martorelli is president of the board of Division America, the other members of the board are Carlos Soto, Rinaldo Martorelli, Fernando Revilla, Carlos Gonzalez Puche and David Paniagua.

Colombians players approve important resolutions
The Ordinary Assembly of the Professional Footballers of Colombia was held in Bogotá. Players' representatives from 32 clubs were present at the meeting and they unanimously approved five resolutions.

Chile: Sifup celebrates its best with players' gala
The Chilean professional footballers association Sifup celebrated the best of this year’s first semester, chosen by 508 players in Chile. More than 250 active and former footballers attended the gala, a first for the Chilean union.

Costa Rica in shock after Dennis Marshall's death
Costa Rican football is mourning the death of Dennis Marshall Maxwell. The player of the country's national team died in a road accident on Thursday.
