FIFPro Tournament
Each year, FIFPro organizes the FIFPro Tournament to help footballers without a contract find a new professional club. Teams from various countries meet each other for a two-day event. This year, the teams will play eachother on 17 and 18 July 2010 in Rijnsburg, The Netherlands. Clubs, scouts and technical directors are invited to see the participating players in action.

The Bulgarian footballers’ association is ‘extremely satisfied’ with its first team for players without a contract. Seventy percent of the players from Team ABF succeeded in finding a new professional club.

The Greek professional footballers’ association PSAP looks back very positively to the match for out of contract players between Greece and Bulgaria. Eleven Greek footballers have found a new club after this special match.
