FIFPro Tournament
Fixtures of the 2012 FIFPro Tournament
Since 2005, each year FIFPro organizes the FIFPro Tournament to help footballers without a contract find a new professional club. In December 2011 and January 2012, FIFPro organizes two tournaments, one in Europe and one in South America:
- FIFPro Winter Tournament: On the 16th of December 2011, four teams will compete in Oslo, Norway
- Torneo FIFPro América: On the 20th and 21st of January 2012 there will be a six team tournament in Santiago de Chile, with five participating countries.
FIFPro invites clubs, scouts and technical directors to see the participating players in action. It is up to the players to show their best in an effort to find a new professional football club, just like many of their colleagues have done during previous FIFPro Tournaments.
