More students than expected started the FIFPro Online Academy, a cooperation of FIFPro union with the University College of Northern Denmark (UCN). Twelve European footballers’ associations have joined this project.

Maybe they will be the stars of the future… They might not be the best Dutch footballers yet, but the talented players who voted for the 2011 FIFA FIFPro World XI could create headlines in the nearby future.

A memorable day in the history of the VVCS (the Dutch players union. Last Monday, 15 active and former football players received the diploma they had earned by successfully completing their studies at the VVCS Academy.

The Argentine footballers’ association handed out diplomas to players and family members who successfully finished their studies or completed courses and workshops. All students were supported by the FAA.

Many professional footballers would like to combine their active football career with education. The FIFPro Online Academy is the answer for them.
