Anti racism was on many country’s agenda last weeks. In Norway both the women’s and men’s professionals were involved in the campaign for Show Racism the Red Card.

Ecuador suspends Barcelona for not paying players

Ecuador’s football association FEF has suspended Barcelona Sporting Club. The FEF temporarily took away the sportive rights from the Guayaquil club, after it had failed to pay some players their salaries.

Liverpool players fill in the FIFPro World XI ballots

Liverpool players have also found the ballot box for the election of the FIFPro World XI 2009. Last year The Reds had two of their stars elected in the World XI.

FIFPro helps FIFA with protection of minors

FIFA has installed a special committee, that starting 1 October supervises all international transfers of minors. Eleven delegates have been selected for this committee, one of them being FIFPro’s Secretary General Theo van Seggelen.
