Important role FIFPro in fight against match-fixing

The Professional Football Strategy Council has agreed to step up the fight against the growing menace of match-fixing in European football. FIFPro Division Europe has been credited with an important role.

Oscar Selele Ntwagae passed away on Friday 27 August. The former player of the South African national team was killed in a traffic accident.

FIFPro concerned over match-fixing sanctions

FIFPro calls on UEFA to cancel the suspension of 2 players from Hungarian club Debreceni VSC, who have been severely sanctioned due to match-fixing although they have done nothing wrong. The players are victims, not culprits.
