The Spanish footballers' association AFE said on Thursday it would seek millions of euros in damages from the professional league (LFP) after it failed to get the schedule for next Sunday's La Liga matches changed.

As a result of the work done by the Colombian Association of Professional Football Players, the League announced penalties against six teams for their failure to pay wages and social security contributions.
