Barcelona stars Aitana Bonmati and Alexia Putellas received their FIFPRO Women’s World 11 trophies from a FIFPRO delegation in Barcelona, Spain.
A record-breaking 7,000 women’s players voted for their World 11 based on performances from 21 August 2023 to 10 August 2024 inclusive. The World 11 is the only global player award decided exclusively by footballers.
The Barca duo were presented the redesigned World 11 trophies and framed shirts by FIFPRO's Director of Global Policy & Strategic Relations (Women's Football) Dr Alex Culvin, Union and Player Relations Coordinator Claudia van den Heiligenberg and FIFPRO global board member Karin Sendel.

A trophy that truly celebrates the collective
Bonmati and Putellas were presented with the new-look World 11 trophy that truly captures the collective spirit of the World 11.
Each individual trophy is an elegant representation of the number ‘1’, symbolising that each player is, in the eyes of their peers, the best in their position on the pitch. When all 11 trophies come together, they form a larger prize representing the entire World 11—celebrating the power of the team.
Designed by the award-winning studio xCruza at their Argentinian base, the trophies when gathered form an Abrazo de Gol (Goal Hug) embodying the essence of football: a single gesture where the team's spirit merges.
