It was a special day for FABOL, the Bolivian Footballers’ Association. The graduation ceremony for the first graduates from the Football University, who are beginning as trainers in the lower divisions, was held at NUR University on 15 April 2011.

The ceremony was attended by Messrs Romer Osuna - Treasurer of the Bolivian Football Confederation, Miguel Angel Rimba  - Deputy Sports Minister, Milton Melgar - Executive Secretary of the Bolivian Footballers' Association - FABOL, David Paniagua - Secretary General of FIFPro Division Americas, Javier Peralta - Rector of the Football University, and William Shoaie - Rector of NUR University.

All the graduates said they saw this as the fundamental stage in their professional training, their major objective being to qualify as Managers in a further year of study, which will enable them to work at national level and manage professional clubs.

The authorities present, and the press in general, highlighted the important role played by the Football University in training human resources and empowering them to continue pursuing the professionalization of football in Bolivia.
