Witness the banter at PSV Eindhoven as players pick their World XI of 2015.

FIFPro TV went behind the scenes at the training base of the Dutch champion to see how Andres Guardado, Luuk de Jong and Hector Moreno, among others, made their decisions.

Midfielder Guardado wanted a third striker to join Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

“It’s complicated. Carlos Tevez, Luis Suarez and Neymar all have a good case,” he said. “How do you spell Lewandowski?”

Professional footballers worldwide are now voting for the annual award coordinated by FIFPro in association with FIFA.

When it comes to Messi and Ronaldo, most seem to agree they are practically untouchable in the virtual team.

Striker Luuk de Jong added Suarez as a third forward, while Moreno plumped for Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Right across the pitch, there are decisions to make in choosing a team of one goalkeeper, four defenders, three midfielders and three forwards.

Defender Jeffrey Bruma looked to fellow centre-back Moreno for advice. “Who do you have as goalkeeper?”

Moreno said he had chosen Gianluigi Buffon because “he brought Juventus to the (Champions League) final.”

The votes collected at PSV are part of an estimated 25,000 ballot forms that will be sent to FIFPro for counting. The World XI will be announced on January 11.
