The Women's Football Steering Council is committed to elevating and advancing professional women's football globally. The council advises and supports FIFPRO's management and board in relation to union work within women’s football, the commercial opportunities associated with the women’s game, and other FIFPRO affairs in relation to women’s football.

The council supports FIFPRO’s commercial team in securing the collective image rights of women’s players.
