FIFPRO monitors the workload of footballers through the FIFPRO Player Workload Monitoring (PWM) platform.
FIFPRO is the only organisation that regularly carries out global research into the daily lives of men's and women's professional footballers, tracking everything from salaries and vacation time to mental health and cartilage damage.
By listening to experts in fields both within and outside of football, FIFPRO and member unions can collectively achieve better results.

Player IQ Tech integrates and collaborates with player unions to facilitate knowledge sharing and the creation of collective assets to address future challenges and opportunities in the workplace driven by innovation and technology.

To provide an independent and complementary resource to ongoing player union activities on performance issues.
To deliver thought-leadership, inform player-centric policy development and enhance existing evidence-based research and expertise.
Comprised of 12 expert practitioners operating in high-performance roles across elite sport. Members are spread regionally and based across the FIFPRO Divisions. All have extensive experience working in elite-level football. The group composition will be evaluated periodically and remains open to the future integration of additional experts.
