The 2025 FIFPRO World 11 has been revealed, following votes from more than 26,000 professional footballers across 68 countries.
Since its launch in 2005, FIFPRO has invited the world’s professional footballers to select their World 11 – the only global football award decided exclusively by the players.

Which player received the most World 11 votes?
18-year-old Lamine Yamal, the youngest player ever named in the World 11, received 10,167 votes from around 20,000 men’s football players – making him the most selected outfield player in the Men’s World 11 with 50 percent of the vote share.
Among women’s players, 6,444 professionals cast their votes. Barcelona and Spain midfielder Aitana Bonmati topped the list with 2,953 selections.

Who narrowly missed out on the World 11?
Marquinhos, Federico Valverde and Lionel Messi were the outfield players who narrowly missed out on a World 11 place in their respective positions.
In the women’s vote, Houston Dash defender Michelle Alozie earned the most votes among players who narrowly missed out on the Women’s World 11.

Who made the World 11 for the first time?
The 2025 World 11 features 10 debutants across the men’s and women’s teams: Nuno Mendes, Vitinha, Pedri, Cole Palmer, Lamine Yamal, Ousmane Dembele, Hannah Hampton, Ona Batlle, Ghizlane Chebbak, and Chloe Kelly.

What was the World 11 voting period?
The FIFPRO Men’s World 11 is made up of the top 11 men’s players from around the world. Selections are based on performances between 15 July 2024 and 3 August 2025 (inclusive). Players must have appeared in at least 30 official matches during that period to be eligible.
The FIFPRO Women’s World 11 features the top 11 women’s players globally. Performances are assessed from 11 August 2024 to 3 August 2025 (inclusive), with players required to have taken part in at least 20 official matches to qualify.
